New Milton is a market town in the south west corner of Hampshire, England. It has a long high street with mainly 20th century architecture. It has six schools and two colleges within or nearby. The northern part of its civil parish, Bashley is in the New Forest and the south touches the coast, Barton-on-Sea. The town is equidistant between Lymington town centre and Christchurch town centres, 6miles (10km) away. The town holds a market every Wednesday and has a theatre, two large community centres, large sports centre and football club.
