If your iPad screen is cracked or smashed, or if the iPad isn't responding to touch, it needs a new glass Touch Screen. In some rare cases the "LCD" under the glass needs to be replaced as well†. This repair is for a new Touch Screen, sometimes called a "Digitiser".

If the battery on your iPad doesn't charge, or if your iPad doesn't last the whole day anymore, then you might need a new battery.

Liquid Damage Notice

Liquids and iPad don't mix well. I know that there's lots of stories about rice working, and almost every other repair company talks about fixing liquid damaged devices 100% of the time. We want to be honest with you up front. Nobody can guarantee that an electronic device, which has been wet, will work perfectly again. It can be fine for weeks and then fail out of the blue. The best advice we can give is to get any important data off the device — things like photos — and then move to a new iPad. If your iPad has had liquid damage then SimplyFixIt reserves the right to cancel the repair and issue a refund. It's not that we don't like you, but we want to stand by our warranty. If it is possible to get your data off the device, we will notify you so that you can decide how to proceed.

Front Screen

†For iPads where the Touch Screen and the LCD are separate, the screen repair covers the glass Touch Screen. If the LCD on your iPad needs to be replaced, we will contact you so that you can make a decision based on the new price.

To complete repairs on a iPad Mini 2 we access the components through the front screen. If the screen is damaged, we will need to repair it at the same time. We will contact you before this happens.
