14-inch MacBook Pro (M2 family)

What's wrong with your 14-inch MacBook Pro (M2 family)?

Choose the repair you need. If there is more than one screen option, the guide below explains the difference before you choose.

Which MacBook screen should I choose?

For modern MacBook repairs, the screen is normally replaced as a complete display assembly. That means the whole top lid is replaced, including the aluminium backing, display panel, hinges and the parts built into that lid assembly. Choose the third-party assembly for the lower-cost route, or the genuine Apple assembly where you want the closest Apple part route and are happy with the higher price.

Display Assembly RepairThird-party part

A lower-cost third-party complete display assembly. This replaces the whole top lid, including the aluminium backing.

Genuine Apple Display AssemblyApple genuine

A genuine Apple complete display assembly where available. This replaces the whole top lid, including the aluminium backing.

About this model

On the 17 January, 2023, Apple announced the new 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro featuring M2 Pro and M2 Max, Apple’s next-generation pro silicon that brings even more power-efficient performance and battery life to pro users. With M2 Pro and M2 Max — the world’s most powerful and efficient chip for a pro laptop — MacBook Pro tackles demanding tasks, like effects rendering, which is up to 6x faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro, and colour grading, which is up to 2x faster. Building on the unprecedented power efficiency of Apple silicon, battery life on MacBook Pro is now up to 22 hours — the longest battery life ever in a Mac. For enhanced connectivity, the new MacBook Pro supports Wi-Fi 6E, which is up to twice as fast as the previous generation, as well as advanced HDMI, which supports 8K displays for the first time.
