More about this repair service

Customers in Edinburgh can visit our repair centre at Bruntsfield Place and speak to the technicians who will work on their device. If you live farther away, book online and use our mail-in service; we regularly repair devices for customers across the UK. We quality check every iPad after repair so it is ready for collection or return delivery.

All repairs include a warranty on parts and workmanship where parts are fitted. Hardware repairs do not normally require access to your personal data. If access is needed to test a repaired function, we explain why. Please back up your device where possible. Established in 1996, SimplyFixIt was ready to fix iPads from the moment Apple made them.

Planning your repair

In-store repairs and postal turnaround

Visit our Bruntsfield Place repair centre in Edinburgh or book a UK mail-in repair. iPhone and iPad in-store repairs are normally completed the same day, subject to the fault and parts availability. Delivery usually takes 1–2 days; this is delivery time, not the in-store repair time. Mac repair estimates are shown separately on the model and repair pages. Contact us before booking if you need a particular collection date; timing depends on the fault and parts availability.

Warranty and testing

iPhone and iPad repairs include a 12-month warranty on fitted parts; other devices include 3 months. Accidental and liquid damage are excluded. We test the repaired function and related features where practical before handover. See our repair policies for the terms.

Preparing your device and protecting your data

Back up your device where possible. Hardware repairs do not normally require access to your personal data. If access is needed to test a repaired function, we explain why. Tell us about existing faults and previous repairs so we can assess the device properly.
