Will biometric unlocking still work after repair?
Tell us before booking if Touch ID or Face ID is already faulty. Screen replacement does not necessarily resolve a separate biometric fault. We will explain what can be tested and retained for your model.
Do I need to erase my iPad before repair?
No. Standard hardware repairs do not normally require your data to be erased, though we always recommend keeping a backup before any repair.
Can I post my iPad from anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Book online, pack the iPad securely and send it to SimplyFixIt. We repair and test it, then return it using insured delivery.
What happens if the frame is bent?
A bent frame can stop a new screen or digitiser sitting correctly. We will assess this before repair and contact you if it changes the repair route.
