Description
The third generation of iPad Pro is a line of tablet computers designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. Two models, with a 12.9Â inch or 11Â inch screen, were both announced on October 30, 2018, and were available to purchase on November 7. This generation of iPad Pro was the first iPad compatible with the new (second generation) Apple Pencil stylus. Like the second generation, a larger size and stylus compatibility were a point of difference from the rest of Apple's available iPads, but the third generation iPad Pro was also the first iPad to use facial recognition (Face ID) to unlock the device.
Upgrades from the second generation iPad Pro include the more powerful A12X Bionic processor, storage capacity up to 1Â terabyte and the larger display of the 11Â inch model (upgraded from a 10.5Â inch model). The third generation iPad Pro also premiered a new design, with a screen that covers more of the front face, and has rounded corners.

Quality of our Components.
Not all iPad components are created equally. When we first started iPad repairs, Apple would make genuine parts available for companies like ours to carry out repairs. But as they have moved more towards pushing people towards replacing damaged devices, rather than repairing them, they have restricted the availability of some genuine Apple parts. Due to our history of our iPad repair service we have been able to build relationships with the people who make the screens and we are able to fit high quality components in all of our repairs. Put simply, we don't use cheap screens that we've bought from eBay and we didn't learn our craft from watching YouTube videos.

Please note:
Liquid Damage:
Liquids and iPad don't mix well. I know that there's lots of stories about rice working, and almost every other repair company talks about fixing liquid damaged devices. We want to be honest with you up front. Nobody can guarantee that an electronic device, which has been wet, will work perfectly again. It can be fine for weeks and then fail out of the blue. The best advice we can give is to get any important data off the device — things like photos — and then move to a new iPad.
If your device has had liquid damage then SimplyFixIt reserves the right to cancel the repair and issue a refund. It's not that we don't like you, but we want to stand by our warranty. If it is possible to get your data off the device, we will notify you so that you can decide how to proceed.
Front Screen Damage:
* In order to carry out this repair, we need to access your iPad through the front screen. If the front screen is damaged then we this will need to be repaired at the same time.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Apple charge for an iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) screen replacement?
According to their website, Apple charge £699 to fix an iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) screen in the UK. At SimplyFixIt, a new screen costs £279. You will save £420 and can still be confident of the quality. You can even split the cost of the repair into 3 interest free payments using Klarna.
Can SimplyFixIt change the battery in an iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018)?
The way that all batteries work, not just iPad batteries, is that over time they lose their capacity. In most cases, if you charge a battery fully 500 times, the difference in performance will be very noticeable. 500 charges on a smartphone are probably done in under 2 years, so if your iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) is over 2 years old, you will see much better performance with a new battery. SimplyFixIt is cheaper than Apple for all iPad battery replacements. We also offer discounts if you are replacing the battery during a screen replacement.
What is the warranty for an iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) screen repair?
SimplyFixIt provides a full 12-month warranty on all iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2018) screen repairs. This compares to 3-months from Apple. This warranty covers faults, but not damage. Unfortunately no company is able to provide a warranty that covers against another cracked screen.
