SimplyFixIt Bruntsfield operates from our long-established Ideal Computing store at 78 Bruntsfield Place. We’ve been part of the local community since 1996, repairing Apple and Windows devices for customers in Bruntsfield, Morningside, Marchmont and across Edinburgh.
Our technicians repair iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs and Windows laptops on-site, with most iPhone repairs completed the same day. We stock common parts in the shop, which means faster turnaround times and no need to send devices away.
If your device is broken, you can walk in any time between Monday and Friday, 9am–5pm. No appointment needed.

Refurbished Macs & Laptops
We stock one of Edinburgh’s largest selections of refurbished Apple Macs. If you want the performance of a modern MacBook without the cost of a new model, this is often the best option. All refurbished machines are fully tested in-house and come with a 3 or 12-month warranty.
If you're after a Windows Laptop, we can help you there too. We have a great range of modern refurbished laptops at a price that can save you money. They come supplied with Windows 11, and an SSD. Just because they're refurbished, doesn't mean that they have to be old or slow.
