Ideal Computing started in Edinburgh in 1996. By late 1998 it was already at it's home on Bruntsfield Place. We've been building custom-made computers there since the very first day. Thousands of homes in Edinburgh got their first computer through Ideal Computing.
In 2002 we started SimplyFixIt, and became the leading computer repair company in the city. We Fix Laptops, Apple Macs, iPhones & iPads.
But, we never stopped selling computers. Our branch in Bruntsfield has new & second-hand laptops and Macs. Expertly refurbished, these computers have been fully tested and offer exceptional value for money.
We don't bother with 'Grade B' or 'poor condition' laptops in order to advertise a super-low starting price. Every one of our refurbished computers is in great condition, runs the latest software, and comes with a warranty.

For Gamers we have custom-built computers which are capable of playing any game, at the best resolutions.

We're not an anonymous online brand, where you buy a computer and never get support. We've been in Edinburgh since 1996.
