Over £150 cheaper than PC World!
Today we had a customer who had seen PC World advertising their HP Pavilion p6-2175ea Desktop PC. It was reduced from £859.99 to £649.99 - so it seemed like a good deal (link: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pavilion-p6-2175ea-desktop-pc-12381960-pdt.html)
Keen to see how one of our custom built PC would compare we conjured up the following:
On the processor (An AMD A8-3820 2.50GHz Quad Core) we offered an upgrade to an AMD A8-3850 2.90GHz Quad Core. We matched the rest of the spec but our motherboard would feature native USB 3.0 - whereas PC World achieve this via an expansion card.
Obviously we couldn't use a HP tower for the build, so we used a Xigmatek Asgard Gaming Chassis instead.
