About Looe
Looe, or Logh in Cornish, meaning "deep water inlet", is a charming coastal town, fishing port, and civil parish in the picturesque southeast region of Cornwall, England. As of the 2011 census, the town was home to 5,280 residents.
Situated 20 miles west of Plymouth and a mere seven miles south of Liskeard, Looe straddles the River Looe, dividing it into East Looe (Cornish: Logh) and West Looe (Cornish: Porthbyhan, meaning "little cove").
